Thalia Black Earth presents tightly ordered, pointed chevrons in deep black against a warm ivory ground. Small broken diamond-like accents interrupt the repeated lines, giving the monochrome surface a crisp woven rhythm.

About this fabric

With a substantial weight of 925 gsm, this fabric is especially suited to upholstery and has a useable width of 131 cm. The near-black pattern reads dense and graphic, while the ivory ground keeps the overall colourway visibly high-contrast rather than flat or tonal. Its 23.8 cm vertical repeat and 13 cm horizontal repeat create closely spaced rows of angular arrows and stepped diamond details. A specification of 45 threads per cm supports the tightly detailed appearance visible across the swatch.

How to use it

Use Thalia Black Earth on a tailored armchair, dining seat or bench when a room needs strong black geometry softened by a warm ivory background. Pair it with chalky neutrals, dark timber and restrained metal finishes so the precise pattern remains the focal point.

A substantial black-and-ivory geometric for statement upholstery, where its precise chevrons can anchor a room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
