About this fabric

The charcoal ground is crossed by closely spaced zigzag and chevron-like forms, creating a finely scaled geometric field across the cloth. Subtle shifts between graphite, slate and softer grey tones catch the light across the woven texture, giving this colourway quiet depth. With a supplied weight of 275 gsm and a usable width of 140 cm, Tanabe is a versatile mid-weight fabric for upholstery or drapery. Its pattern repeats every 16 cm vertically and 23.5 cm horizontally, while the specification records 151 threads per centimetre.

How to use it

Use Tanabe Charcoal to add a cool, structured note to a room, pairing its graphite-grey depth with pale timber, stone or softly coloured upholstery. The small repeat works well on compact seating, cushions, blinds or full-length curtains where its tonal texture can be seen up close.
