About this fabric

With a substantial weight of 453 gsm, Typhonic Onyx is best suited to upholstery and gives the graphic design a strong, grounded presence. Its 44 cm vertical repeat and 47 cm horizontal repeat form a clearly repeating field of overlapping arcs and diagonal strokes, so pattern placement will be visible on a finished piece. The 138 cm usable width and 30 m standard length provide practical coverage for upholstery projects. A specification of 171 threads per cm accompanies the close, textured-looking surface seen across the black-and-ivory ground.

How to use it

Use Typhonic Onyx on a statement armchair, headboard or compact sofa where the cool black marks can anchor an otherwise pale room. Pair it with ivory upholstery details and simple dark timber or black metal so the energetic repeat remains the focal point.
