Tremolo Aubergine/Chartreuse combines cool plum-purple, yellow-green and muted grey-green in closely packed, horizontal waves. The irregular zigzag edges create a lively ikat-like texture while the pale ground keeps the colourway light.

About this fabric

This colourway layers fine, undulating bands of aubergine, chartreuse and dusty grey-green across a pale ground; the broken edges give each wave a softly serrated, ikat-like appearance. The aubergine reads as a cool, muted plum rather than a red purple, while chartreuse supplies sharp yellow-green flashes that catch across the horizontal movement. With a 385 gsm weight and 43 threads per cm, the cloth has a substantial, closely made presence suited to upholstery. Its 130 cm usable width is paired with a 37.2 cm vertical repeat and 65 cm horizontal repeat, allowing the repeating waves to be planned across a piece.

How to use it

Use this colourway on a tailored armchair, headboard or occasional seat where the aubergine can provide depth and the chartreuse waves can act as a bright, graphic accent. Echo the muted grey-green threads with chalky neutrals rather than adding another strong colour.
