Sial Pewter/Bronze combines a cool, pale pewter ground with broken vertical marks in weathered bronze. The distressed striations give the surface a layered, mineral-like depth as the light moves across it.

About this fabric

This substantial 767 gsm fabric has a visibly textured surface, with irregular pewter and grey-blue threads interrupted by warm bronze-brown vertical strokes. Its abstract pattern has a 38 cm vertical repeat and a 34.2 cm horizontal repeat, creating a directional rhythm without a conventional floral or geometric motif. With a 137 cm usable width and 104 threads per cm, it is a densely made textile suited to upholstery applications. The bronze accents are softened rather than bright, allowing the cooler pewter tone to remain the dominant impression.

How to use it

Pair Sial Pewter/Bronze with charcoal, aged timber and softly weathered leather to draw out its cool industrial character, or use warm bronze accessories to echo the rust-toned marks. Its vertical pattern is particularly effective on tailored chairs, headboards and structured seating.

Use the cool pewter ground to temper the warmer bronze markings on tailored upholstery, benches or occasional chairs.
