Cubica Onyx

Momentum 12 Fabrics FabricHAF0359-02

Cubica Onyx brings a tightly drawn cellular geometry to an ivory ground, outlined in near-black. The small, irregular polygonal network gives the surface a crisp, graphic presence with a subtly architectural mood.

About this fabric

This substantial 486gsm fabric is 135cm wide and has a dense, even woven appearance in the supplied swatch. Near-black outlines define closely packed organic cells against a warm ivory background, creating strong contrast without a large-scale motif. The pattern repeats every 11.7cm vertically and 12.5cm horizontally, so its texture-like geometry remains consistently visible across upholstery panels. With 84 threads per centimetre and a standard length of 40m, Cubica Onyx is a practical choice for coordinated upholstery requirements.

How to use it

Use Cubica Onyx on a tailored armchair, dining seat or ottoman where its black linework can act as a graphic punctuation against ivory, stone, charcoal or warm wood. The restrained two-tone palette also suits a monochrome scheme that needs more visual texture than a plain cloth.

Use the crisp black-and-ivory geometry to sharpen upholstered seating, stools or occasional chairs in calm neutral rooms.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
