Pythagorum Velvet Graphite/Gold

About this fabric

This Harlequin velvet has a 132.8 cm usable width and a substantial 416 gsm weight, making it well suited to upholstery. The large geometric repeat measures 101 cm vertically by 137 cm horizontally, with overlapping wedges and irregular blocks creating a strong directional pattern. Graphite and smoky grey areas give the colourway a cool, grounded base, while ochre-gold sections add concentrated warmth rather than bright saturation. Fine linear texture is visible across the pale, brown and charcoal forms, subtly softening the contrast between the hard-edged shapes.

How to use it

Use Graphite/Gold on a tailored statement chair, headboard or compact sofa where the 137 cm repeat can be appreciated. Pair its cool charcoal and grey with warm wood, aged brass and quiet cream upholstery accents to draw out the ochre-gold details.

A substantial geometric velvet bringing cool graphite, warm ochre-gold and pale neutrals to upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
