Nirmala Chalk/Ebony

Mirador Wallpaper WallpaperHAW0183-04

Nirmala Chalk/Ebony places dense ebony, brush-like markings over a soft chalk ground. The close view reveals expressive striped forms and layered, animal-inspired outlines rather than a flat geometric repeat.

About this fabric

The colourway is defined by a cool, lightly softened chalk background and deep ebony-grey marks, giving the design strong contrast without the starkness of pure black and white. Broken dashes, directional strokes and outlined organic forms create the impression of stylised animal figures and foliage across the surface. Supplied at 173 gsm, the wallpaper has a 52 cm usable width and a 64 cm vertical pattern repeat, with no horizontal repeat specified. Each standard roll is 10.05 m long, allowing the sweeping composition to read continuously across a wall.

How to use it

Use Chalk/Ebony on a feature wall where its cool pale ground can brighten the room while the ebony linework supplies graphic depth. It pairs naturally with chalky neutrals, charcoal accents and tactile natural materials rather than warm, saturated colour.

A high-contrast chalk-and-ebony wallpaper with expressive, animal-inspired linework and a distinctly graphic presence.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
