Tectrix Pewter

Momentum 11 Fabrics FabricHAF0370-04

Tectrix Pewter shows a fine branching lattice drawn in charcoal over a cool, softly mottled pewter-grey ground. The close tonal pairing gives the angular motif depth while keeping the overall impression calm and considered.

About this fabric

The surface combines a cool grey-pewter field with slender, irregular intersecting lines that form a small-scale geometric tracery. Its muted contrast and subtly dry-looking weave make the pattern read as refined rather than stark, with the pewter tone shifting gently across the surface. At 430 gsm and 90 threads per cm, this is a substantial, closely woven textile suited to upholstery. It has a 135 cm usable width and a standard 30 m length, with a 5.3 cm vertical repeat and an 11.3 cm horizontal repeat.

How to use it

Use Tectrix Pewter on a tailored armchair, dining seat or sofa where its cool grey tone can sit alongside charcoal, pale stone and brushed metal. The fine angular tracery also works well as a quiet patterned counterpoint to plain upholstery in a modern room.

A cool pewter-grey upholstery fabric with fine charcoal angular tracery and a quietly tailored feel.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Tectrix Pewter without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
