About this fabric

With a 430 gsm weight and 135 cm usable width, Tectrix Tulip has the substantial feel expected of an upholstery textile. Its warm tulip-red ground is softened by closely spaced darker red lines, creating a lightly variegated surface rather than a flat block of colour. The small-scale design repeats every 5.3 cm vertically and 11.3 cm horizontally, so the angular motif remains finely distributed across a chair, sofa or headboard. A construction of 90 threads per centimetre supports the fabric’s visibly dense woven texture.

How to use it

Use Tectrix Tulip to bring warm coral-red depth to an occasional chair, dining seat or upholstered headboard, particularly alongside chalky neutrals, walnut and dark bronze. Its fine angular pattern can add texture to a room without competing with larger-scale motifs.
