About this fabric

The interlocking curved strokes shift between translucent beige, muted taupe and warmer oatmeal tones, with glimpses of the cream ground showing through each layered mark. A 44cm vertical repeat and 47cm horizontal repeat give the painterly motif a clear, medium-scale rhythm across the cloth. At 453gsm, with 171 threads per centimetre, this is a substantial textile well suited to upholstery. The 138cm usable width and 30m standard length provide practical coverage for furniture and larger interior schemes.

How to use it

Pair Typhonic Pumice with chalky walls, pale oak and warm ivory upholstery for a calm, tonal room, or use it on a statement armchair where the taupe brushwork can be seen clearly. Its muted cream base also works well with natural linen and softly weathered timber.

Use this softly layered cream-and-taupe design to bring painterly movement to upholstered seating and occasional chairs.
