Fawn Dalmation

Reflect Velvets VelvetHAF0542-03

Fawn Dalmation combines a softly warm fawn-beige ground with a dense scatter of tiny dark spots. The velvet pile gives the close-set pattern a gently dimensional, light-catching surface.

About this fabric

This Harlequin Reflect Velvets colourway has a muted, warm beige base marked by fine black-to-charcoal dalmatian spots, creating a lively surface without a high-contrast graphic effect. As a 514 gsm velvet with 65 threads per cm, it has the substantial visual and tactile presence expected of an upholstery cloth. The pattern repeats every 16.1 cm vertically and 17.6 cm horizontally, keeping the small-scale motif evenly distributed across the 141 cm usable width. Its fawn tone reads softer and earthier than a crisp cream, while the dark flecks add definition against the plush pile.

How to use it

Bring Fawn Dalmation into relaxed, warm interiors through an armchair, headboard or compact sofa, pairing its fawn base with walnut, ebonised wood, ivory and charcoal. The small dark motif also works well alongside plain boucle, linen or brushed metal accents.

Use this warm fawn velvet on occasional chairs, footstools or a statement sofa, with dark wood and charcoal accents.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Fawn Dalmation without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
