About this fabric
Woven in a saturated peacock teal, this 300 gsm fabric has an even plain texture with gently shifting darker and lighter threads visible across the surface. The colour reads cool and jewel-like rather than blue-green pastel, giving upholstery and curtains a confident, smart finish. Its usable width is 144 cm, while the vertical and horizontal pattern repeats are both 0 cm, making the plain design straightforward to position. The standard length is 35 m for larger furnishing projects.
How to use it
Use Alvar Peacock to add a cool, saturated focal note to a neutral room, particularly on a statement armchair, sofa or generous curtains. Pair its blue-green depth with warm timber, aged brass and soft cream upholstery for balance.
