About this fabric
This 300gsm fabric has a dense, nap-like appearance, with darker plum shadows and small areas where the light catches a brighter berry tone. Its plain surface has no pattern repeat, allowing the colour and texture to remain the focus. The 144cm usable width makes it practical for upholstery layouts, while the standard length is 35m. Alvar Plum’s cool, inky richness gives upholstered pieces a luxe, enveloping presence.
How to use it
Use Alvar Plum on an armchair, headboard or compact sofa where its deep berry tone can act as the room’s colour anchor. Pair it with ivory, mushroom, aged brass or dark walnut to soften and frame the saturated shade.
