About this fabric

This 300gsm fabric has a dense-looking, subtly uneven surface that gently catches the light rather than appearing flat. Its cool navy tone becomes nearly black in the deepest areas of the swatch, with faint blue variation visible across the face. At 144cm wide, it offers a practical mid-weight format for both upholstery and drapery. The 0cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeats make it straightforward to position, while the standard 35m length supports larger projects.

How to use it

Pair Alvar Navy with pale timber, chalky neutrals or brushed metal for contrast, or use it against darker finishes for a quiet, enveloping room. Its near-black blue depth is particularly effective on an occasional chair, headboard or full-length curtain.

Use this deep, cool navy to bring quiet definition to upholstery, curtains or tailored cushions without introducing a visible pattern.
