About this fabric

The fabric shows an all-over botanical design of branching stems, leaves and open flower heads in a muted oyster-taupe shade against a warm cream base. Its 423 gsm weight gives this floral textile a substantial presence suited to upholstery, while the 140 cm usable width supports practical cutting. The pattern repeats every 61 cm vertically and 70 cm horizontally, allowing the trailing florals to be planned across a chair, headboard or sofa. A specification of 177 threads per cm accompanies the lightly textured-looking surface.

How to use it

Use Lustica Oyster on a classic armchair, dining seat or headboard where its warm cream base can brighten the room without losing the definition of the taupe botanical pattern. Pair it with natural wood, chalky paintwork and quiet oatmeal or stone textiles.

A substantial oyster ground with softly contrasting taupe florals for refined upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
