About this fabric

This colourway reads as a muted grey with a slight green cast, sitting between stone and silver rather than looking stark or blue. The weave is clearly visible in the image, with a compact, slubby texture that gives the cloth a dry, tactile finish. At 344 gsm and 137.5 cm wide, it has the substance expected of an upholstery-weight fabric, while the lack of pattern repeat keeps the surface calm and continuous. With 56 threads per cm, the cloth appears tightly made and well suited to clean-lined furniture where texture does the work instead of pattern.

How to use it

Use this pewter shade on sofas, dining chairs or headboards where you want a restrained, architectural feel. It pairs especially well with pale oak, black metal and chalky neutrals, letting the weave add depth without adding colour noise.

A cool, versatile pewter that works beautifully on tailored upholstery and pared-back drapery alike.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
