Richmond Park Velvet Evergreen

Antiquary VelvetZOF0161-01

Richmond Park Velvet Evergreen presents a richly layered botanical scene in deep evergreen, teal, sage and cream, set against a muted olive ground. The softly varied greens give the swatch a cool, woodland depth rather than a single flat green.

About this fabric

This Zoffany velvet weighs 416gsm and has a usable width of 132.5cm, giving the leafy design a substantial upholstery presence. Cream and pale sage leaves sit over darker teal foliage, while fine brown stems and olive ground tones add definition between the overlapping branches. The pattern has a large 77.5cm vertical repeat and 132.5cm horizontal repeat, so its climbing foliage will read clearly across a larger upholstered surface. A construction of 57.7 threads per cm supports the fabric's closely worked, richly coloured appearance.

How to use it

Use Evergreen on a statement armchair, sofa or headboard where its deep botanical greens can anchor a room, then pick up the swatch's pale sage and cream leaves in cushions or painted joinery. Warm timber and aged brass will complement the olive and brown notes without competing with the dense foliage.

Use its deep evergreen, teal and olive tones to bring layered botanical colour to an upholstered chair, sofa or headboard.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
