Umbra Peacock layers saturated peacock teal with turquoise, mineral green and pale aqua in a striking vertical abstract design. The softly brushed marks create varied depth across the surface, shifting from deep blue-green accents to lighter, misty areas.

About this fabric

This Clarke & Clarke Kaleidoscope fabric has a substantial 358gsm weight, making it well suited to upholstery applications. Its 137cm usable width gives generous coverage, while the 69cm vertical and 34.5cm horizontal pattern repeats define the placement of the elongated, painterly strokes. Dark teal passages add visual weight, while turquoise and pale aqua highlights catch the light across the textured-looking surface. The result is a cool, richly layered colourway with an expressive, almost mineral quality.

How to use it

Use Umbra Peacock on a statement armchair, sofa or headboard where its cool teal depth can lead the scheme. Balance the energetic vertical marks with warm timber, brushed brass or quiet neutral upholstery nearby.

Use this layered peacock teal colourway to bring cool, painterly depth to an upholstered chair, sofa or headboard.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Umbra Peacock without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
