Gautier Natural has a pale, warm beige ground marked by irregular taupe lines that travel vertically across the surface. The close, tactile-looking pattern gives this colourway gentle movement without strong contrast.

About this fabric

The colour reads as soft natural beige, with muted taupe-grey markings that create a lightly weathered, organic effect. Uneven vertical forms vary from slim lines to broader broken sections, while the textured surface catches the light subtly rather than appearing flat. At 546gsm, this is a substantial fabric suited to upholstery applications. It has a 140 cm usable width, a 52 cm vertical repeat and a 23.5 cm horizontal repeat, allowing the irregular pattern to be planned across upholstered pieces.

How to use it

Use Gautier Natural on a statement armchair, headboard or sofa where its warm beige base can sit alongside ivory, oatmeal and pale timber. Its restrained taupe pattern also works with darker walnut or stone accents when a room needs more depth without a strong colour contrast.

Use this warm natural beige with timber, ivory upholstery and soft taupe accents for a quietly textured scheme.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Gautier Natural without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
