Beauvoir Spice

Latour FabricCCF0079-07

Beauvoir Spice has a richly mottled spice-red ground, enlivened by tiny cream, tan and brown flecks across its densely woven surface. The close-up reveals a tactile, finely grained textile rather than a bold printed motif.

About this fabric

At 621gsm, this is a substantial fabric suited to upholstery, with enough visual depth for generous seating and structured forms. Its warm rust-red tone sits between terracotta and brick, while lighter flecks soften the density and give the surface a gently weathered character. The fabric has a usable width of 142cm; the supplied pattern repeat is 49cm vertically by 34.5cm horizontally. A standard length of 40m is supplied for larger upholstery schemes.

How to use it

Use Beauvoir Spice on a statement armchair, sofa or dining seat where its warm red-brown depth can anchor a room. Balance it with oat, camel and natural timber, or sharpen the palette with charcoal and aged metal.

A substantial spice-red woven texture for tailored upholstery, pairing especially well with warm neutrals, walnut and aged brass.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
