Fryett's Fabrics

Linear Dove

Acacia Fabric

Linear Dove has a quiet taupe ground with slender charcoal-grey, leaf-like lines moving vertically across the cloth. The overall effect is soft and airy, with enough contrast to keep the pattern crisp without feeling harsh.

About this fabric

This fabric is woven in 68% cotton and 32% polyester, with a 145cm width and a 53cm pattern repeat, making it a practical choice for coordinated interior schemes. In this colourway, the pale dove base reads warm and lightly mineral, while the darker linear motif brings a restrained, smoky definition. The surface has a textile softness rather than a glossy finish, so the pattern sits neatly on the cloth and feels refined rather than bold. With no performance features noted and care code NQT1, it suits projects where the look is as important as the handled texture.

How to use it

Use Linear Dove on tailored curtains, roman blinds or occasional upholstery where you want the taupe ground to keep a room light. It works especially well with stone, oak and brushed metal finishes, which pick up the calm grey-brown tone.

Pair with textured linens and pale timber to keep the woven lines feeling calm and contemporary.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
