This shade reads as a muted ochre-yellow with a soft brown warmth, so it feels grounded rather than lemony. In north-facing light it can look deeper and more honeyed, with the warmth slightly tempered by cooler shadows. In south-facing rooms it opens out more clearly, showing its golden side and reflecting a useful amount of light without becoming pale. It sits well beside dark timber, walnut, painted ivory woodwork, and upholstery in russet, sage, or deep blue-green tones.

How to use it
