Zonda Sand

Misc Fabric

Zonda Sand has a dry, crosshatched surface that reads as warm sand brown with a soft metallic lift. The woven texture gives the colourway a mottled, slightly weathered look that feels grounded and versatile.

About this fabric

This Porter & Stone fabric is made from 95% polyester and 5% lurex, giving the surface a tactile, lightly shimmering finish rather than a flat matte face. At 140cm wide with a 34cm vertical repeat and 35.5cm horizontal repeat, it is designed as a patterned textile rather than a plain coordinate. The colourway combines earthy brown and sand tones with pale slubs and flecks that catch the light, creating a broken, layered effect across the weave. The overall impression is warm and restrained, with just enough glint from the lurex to keep the surface lively without making it look shiny.

How to use it

Use Zonda Sand where you want a neutral that still has visual texture, such as a statement chair, ottoman or tailored curtains. Its warm, muted brown base works especially well with oak, aged brass and soft cream upholstery.

A warm neutral with a subtle metallic fleck, ideal for adding depth without overpowering a room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
