Wild Flower Terracotta

Misc Fabric

Wild Flower Terracotta is a light, airy floral on a pale ground, scattered with delicate stems and seed heads in warm terracotta, soft green and muted yellow. The overall effect is fresh and botanical, with the terracotta giving the design its most distinctive warmth.

About this fabric

Printed on 100% cotton and measuring 140cm wide, this fabric has a 64cm pattern repeat that suits the flowing, repeated rise of the botanical stems. In this Terracotta colourway, the motif reads soft and sun-warmed rather than deep or rustic, with coral-terracotta flowers lifting the design from the creamy background. Fine linework and gentle washes of colour keep the pattern feeling light, while the varied stems give it a loose, meadow-like rhythm. With no performance features noted, it is best chosen for decorative schemes where its relaxed, natural character can be appreciated.

How to use it

Pair this warm terracotta version with limed woods, pale oak and earthy neutrals to keep the room feeling light. It also works well with a soft green accent, echoing the stems in the print without overpowering the pattern.

Use for cheerful curtains or light upholstery where the warm terracotta accents can shine against the pale ground.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Wild Flower Terracotta without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
