Porter & Stone

Lingdale Seafoam

Misc Fabric

Lingdale Seafoam shows a painterly vertical botanical trail in layered seafoam, teal and taupe on a pale ground. The palette feels fresh but muted, with the darker accents giving the design extra depth.

About this fabric

This Porter & Stone fabric has a 140cm width and a generous 78cm vertical repeat with a 68cm horizontal repeat, so the leafy motif makes a strong statement across the cloth. The composition of 12% cotton, 38% polyester and 50% recycled polyester gives the surface a slightly textured, woven look that suits the organic pattern well. In this colourway, the seafoam teal reads cool and airy rather than bright, softened by sage, stone and charcoal notes that break up the repeat. It feels lighter and more coastal than a deep green version, with the pale ground helping the foliage shapes stand out cleanly.

How to use it

Use Lingdale Seafoam on curtains, cushions or an accent chair where its cool teal branches can add movement without overwhelming the room. It pairs especially well with whitewashed woods, putty linen and aged brass for a calm, layered scheme.

Layer with pale oak, chalky neutrals and brushed metal for an easy coastal feel.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Lingdale Seafoam without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
