Aesops Fables Pink

Country House Fabrics FabricSAF0045-01

Aesops Fables Pink shows a romantic country-scene print in faded rose on a warm cream ground. The palette feels softly aged rather than bright, which gives the design a gentle, lived-in look.

About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric from the Country House Fabrics collection is a textile with a usable width of 137 cm, a 124 cm vertical repeat, a 137 cm horizontal repeat, and a weight of 265 gsm. The print is worked in muted pinks, from powdery blush to deeper dusty rose, over a creamy background that keeps the detail light and airy. The repeated botanical and figurative motifs read clearly at close range but soften from a distance, making the overall effect more decorative than busy. At 42 threads per cm, the cloth has enough definition to hold the pattern neatly while still feeling approachable and unfussy.

How to use it

Use this soft pink colourway on an upholstered armchair, loveseat, or window seat where its faded rose tones can warm cream paintwork. It also suits relaxed curtains in a room with oak, painted wood, or antique finishes.

Its faded rose tones feel charming on easy, country-style seating or statement curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Aesops Fables Pink without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
