About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric from the Country House Fabrics collection is a substantial textile, with a 350 gsm weight and 37 threads per cm, so it has enough body for tailored soft furnishings as well as decorative drapes. The usable width is 127 cm, with a 38 cm vertical repeat and 63 cm horizontal repeat, both of which suit the confident, repeating floral layout shown here. Visually, the ground reads as warm ivory, while the flowers bring together dusty rose, raspberry pink, sage green and pale aqua for a gently aged, hand-worked effect. The overall finish feels classic and lived-in, with enough colour contrast to hold interest but not so much that it loses its calm, country-house softness.

How to use it

Use it on curtains, cushions or an accent chair where the creamy ground can brighten a room and the rose tones can echo blush paintwork or patterned china. It works especially well with painted timber, pale oak and muted green accents.
