Mistral Teal

Misc Fabric

Mistral Teal pairs a deep teal ground with a crisp metallic-looking gold motif, giving the design a rich, architectural feel. The repeating small-scale diamond pattern reads neatly and evenly across the surface.

About this fabric

This fabric is supplied in a 140cm width and has a 18cm pattern repeat, which helps the small geometric motif sit in a regular, ordered rhythm. The composition is 95% polyester and 5% lurex, so the surface has a subtle glimmer where the gold thread catches the light against the darker teal ground. Visually, the colourway feels cool and moody rather than bright, with the gold bringing warmth and definition to each repeated shape. It has enough presence for statement schemes while still feeling controlled and refined.

How to use it

Use Mistral Teal to add depth to upholstered dining chairs, a headboard or structured cushions, especially where the gold detail can be picked up by brass or warm wood. It also works well in curtains or blinds if you want the teal to hold the room while the lurex adds a discreet flash of light.

Use for tailored upholstery or curtains where the metallic gold detail can catch the light.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
