Cosmos Velvet II Spice
Cosmos Velvet Velvet028
Cosmos Velvet II Spice has a deep, warm spice-brown appearance, with subtle terracotta and amber variation visible across its plain velvet surface. The changing nap gives the swatch a softly mottled depth rather than a flat block of colour.

About this fabric
This plain velvet has a dense-looking surface with gentle tonal shifts, moving from dark russet brown into lighter coppery areas where the pile catches the light. It is woven from 24% cotton and 76% polyester and measures approximately 137cm wide. The supplied usage is curtains and fixed upholstery, with Contract and General Domestic upholstery grading. Dry cleaning is specified for after-care, making this a practical choice where the rich velvet finish needs to be preserved.
How to use it
Use the warm spice-brown tone to add depth to a reading chair, banquette or sofa, or introduce it as softly light-catching curtains against cream, clay, tobacco or dark timber finishes.
Use this richly toned velvet to bring warm depth to upholstered seating or full, softly reflective curtains.

Pairs well with
Cosmos Velvet II Spice is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
