About this fabric

This plain velvet has a richly earthy tawny colour, with irregular lighter passages across the surface that reveal the direction of the pile. The dense-looking nap and warm brown depth give it a luxe, enveloping character suited to upholstered furniture. At approximately 137cm wide, it is specified for curtains and fixed upholstery, with a composition of 24% cotton and 76% polyester. The fabric is graded for Contract and General Domestic use and should be dry cleaned.

How to use it

Use this tawny brown on a club chair, sofa or headboard to bring grounded warmth to a room, pairing it with aged timber, camel leather or soft cream textiles. As curtains, its darker tone can frame windows with a cocooning, softly light-catching presence.
