About this fabric

The Neptune colourway reads as a cool, inky blue with violet-purple undertones, giving the plain velvet considerable depth without a visible printed motif. Close tonal variation across the pile creates a softly weathered, almost mineral effect as the light moves over it. At approximately 137cm wide, it is made from 24% cotton and 76% polyester and is specified for curtains and fixed upholstery. After-care is dry clean, and the fabric is graded for Contract and General Domestic use.

How to use it

Use Neptune on a statement armchair, sofa or headboard where its dark blue-purple tone can anchor a room, or use it for full curtains to intensify a cocooning scheme. Pair it with soft grey, charcoal, aged brass or muted lilac to draw out the velvet’s cool, smoky depth.
