Helter Skelter Lichen combines a deep olive-brown ground with curling cream forms and narrow blue-grey lines. The softly mottled surface gives the pattern a gently aged, tactile depth rather than a flat, high-contrast finish.

About this fabric

The design is formed from repeating vertical, ogee-like bands, with serrated cream leaf shapes enclosing the rich lichen-toned centres. Muted blue-grey outlines wind between the motifs, adding a cool accent to the otherwise earthy olive and tan palette. Approximately 137cm wide, it is specified for curtains and fixed upholstery and carries a Contract, General Domestic upholstery grade. Its composition is 88% polyester, 8% acrylic and 4% viscose.

How to use it

Use this colourway on a statement armchair, bench or tailored curtain to bring depth without the heaviness of a very dark brown. Balance the olive lichen ground with oatmeal, parchment and small touches of dusty blue-grey.

The deep lichen ground pairs well with warm neutrals, pale timber and restrained blue-grey accents.
