Helter Skelter Fabric001

Helter Skelter Grape combines a deep grape-burgundy ground with repeating, curling leaf forms in muted olive and warm ochre. The dark, softly textured surface gives the pattern a rich and enveloping character.

About this fabric

This Linwood fabric has a 137cm approximate width and is specified for curtains and fixed upholstery, with Contract and General Domestic upholstery grades. Its 88% polyester, 8% acrylic and 4% viscose composition supports a softly velvety-looking surface, while the image shows strong tonal depth across the dark grape ground. Vertical scrolling stems create elongated ornamental panels, edged with serrated olive-grey leaves and traced with muted ochre lines. The result is a formal, slightly dramatic colourway with a warm antique cast rather than a bright or highly saturated purple.

How to use it

Use Helter Skelter Grape on a statement armchair, sofa or full-length curtain where its dark grape tone can anchor a room. Pair it with aged timber, warm neutrals and olive accents to pick up the lighter scrolling foliage.

The deep grape ground and muted olive scrollwork bring richly patterned depth to upholstery, curtains and classic interiors.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
