Cosmos Velvet Fawn
Cosmos Velvet Velvet002
Cosmos Velvet Fawn has a deep, smoky fawn-brown ground with lighter, clouded areas where the velvet nap catches the light. Its softly mottled appearance gives this plain velvet more depth than a completely even surface.

About this fabric
This velvet is woven in 24% cotton and 76% polyester and measures approximately 137cm wide. The warm brown-tan colour is muted rather than bright, with charcoal-like depth and pale, brushed highlights visible across the pile. The softly irregular nap creates a subtle tonal movement while retaining the quiet character of a plain or semi-plain textile. It is specified for curtains and fixed upholstery, with Contract and General Domestic upholstery grades, and should be dry cleaned.
How to use it
Use this fawn-brown velvet to bring warmth and depth to a neutral sitting room, particularly on a tailored chair, sofa or headboard. Its smoky tonal variation also works well as a full-length curtain fabric where the nap can catch changing daylight.
A smoky fawn-brown velvet with softly varied nap, suited to upholstered seating and coordinating curtains.

Pairs well with
Cosmos Velvet Fawn is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
