About this fabric

This plain velvet is woven from 76% polyester and 24% cotton, with an approximate width of 137cm. The Currant colourway has a dense, earthy depth, reading as a muted red softened by brown rather than a bright or glossy scarlet. The supplied usage is Curtains and Fixed Upholstery, and the fabric is graded for Contract and General Domestic upholstery. After-care is Dry Clean.

How to use it

Use Currant on a statement armchair, sofa or dining seat where its dark terracotta-red tone can anchor warm timber, aged brass and cream upholstery. As a curtain velvet, it will add enveloping colour while its uneven pile gives the red-brown shade gentle movement in changing light.

A deep, warm currant velvet that brings rich colour and softly shifting texture to upholstered seating.
