Stresa Storm Cloud

Stresa Fabric001

Stresa Storm Cloud is a cool, deep grey woven fabric with a finely gridded surface and softly varied charcoal-to-stone colouring. Its close-up texture gives the plain design a quiet sense of depth rather than a flat, uniform finish.

About this fabric

The visible weave is compact and even, with fine horizontal and vertical yarns creating a subtle crosshatch that gently catches the light. This Storm Cloud colourway reads as a cool grey, softened by small shifts between charcoal, graphite and muted stone tones. At approximately 137cm wide, it is supplied for Fixed Upholstery and is graded for Contract and General Domestic use. Its composition is 55% Acrylic, 16% Recycled Polyester, 15% Viscose, 9% Polyester and 5% Linen; after-care is Dry Clean.

How to use it

Use this storm-grey upholstery on a clean-lined sofa, dining chair or occasional chair where its cool depth can anchor pale timber, black metal and soft blue-grey accents. The restrained crosshatch texture also adds interest to a tonal grey room without introducing a pronounced pattern.

A cool, finely textured storm-grey weave with enough visual depth for tailored upholstery and contemporary neutral schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
