About this fabric

The close-up shows a charcoal-grey ground worked with subtle lighter and darker threads, creating a restrained, tactile texture across the plain weave. Its dark neutral tone reads cool and softly softened, with the uneven yarn surface catching the light in small flecks. Tanaro Anchor is 137cm wide and specified for fixed upholstery in Contract and General Domestic settings. Its composition is 59% Acrylic, 18% Recycled Polyester, 12% Viscose, 6% Polyester and 5% Linen, with dry-clean care.

How to use it

Use this deep grey upholstery on a clean-lined sofa or occasional chair, pairing it with pale stone, chalky grey or warm timber to bring out the weave’s tonal variation. Its muted depth also suits darker, tailored interiors without introducing a strong pattern.

A textured charcoal-grey weave for tailored sofas, armchairs and other fixed upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
