About this fabric

The fine plain weave combines a marlin-blue ground with muted lilac, grey and pale sandy threads, creating subtle depth rather than a defined motif. Its closely textured surface reads as calm and tailored, with small tonal variations catching the light across the swatch. At approximately 137cm wide, Tanaro Marlin is specified for Fixed Upholstery and graded for Contract and General Domestic use. The composition is 59% acrylic, 18% recycled polyester, 12% viscose, 6% polyester and 5% linen, with Dry Clean after-care.

How to use it

Use this cool blue-lilac colourway on a sofa, headboard or dining chair where its fine flecked texture can soften crisp whites, pale timber and grey-blue accents. Pair it with lilac-grey accessories or warmer sandy neutrals to draw out the quieter threads in the weave.

A finely flecked blue-lilac weave that brings cool, understated texture to fixed upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
