Tanaro Fabric001

Tanaro Seashell presents a pale shell-cream ground with a softly mottled woven surface. Restrained beige flecking keeps this plain design warm and tactile rather than stark.

About this fabric

The swatch is a quiet plain/semi-plain weave, with fine irregular horizontal texture and tiny darker threads interrupting its pale seashell ground. Its cream-beige tone stays warm and low-contrast rather than bright white, while the close weave gives the surface gentle visual depth. At approximately 137cm wide, it is specified for Fixed Upholstery and graded Contract, General Domestic. The composition is 59% Acrylic, 18% Recycled Polyester, 12% Viscose, 6% Polyester and 5% Linen; after-care is Dry Clean.

How to use it

Use this warm Seashell colourway on sofas, headboards or occasional chairs where its softly flecked cream surface can bring depth to an otherwise light neutral room. Pair it with chalky whites, pale timber and subtle beige layers rather than crisp, high-contrast colour.

Use its warm shell-cream texture to soften upholstered seating and layered neutral schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
