Tanaro Iron has a densely textured, mottled weave in iron grey, with warm taupe undertones and scattered charcoal flecks visible across the surface. Its quiet plain construction lets the fine tonal variation provide the visual interest.

About this fabric

The colour reads as a softened iron grey rather than a flat black, with taupe warmth and peppered darker fibres creating depth across the cloth. A lightly irregular, nubby weave catches the light in small shifts, giving this plain fabric a tactile appearance without a defined motif. At approximately 137cm wide, it is specified for fixed upholstery in Contract and General Domestic settings. The composition is 59% Acrylic, 18% Recycled Polyester, 12% Viscose, 6% Polyester and 5% Linen, with dry-clean care.

How to use it

Use Tanaro Iron on a sofa, armchair or dining seat where its warm grey-taupe depth can temper pale walls and natural timber. Charcoal, stone, mushroom and aged metal accents will reinforce the flecked, quietly industrial character of the weave.

Use this deep taupe-grey weave to bring subtle texture and grounded depth to upholstered seating.
