About this fabric

This plain woven fabric has a light corn-silk tone that sits between soft cream and muted straw, rather than reading as a stark white. Small variations in the weave create a quietly mottled surface while keeping the overall appearance calm and even. Made from 59% acrylic, 18% recycled polyester, 12% viscose, 6% polyester and 5% linen, it is supplied at approximately 137cm wide. Tanaro Cornsilk is rated for Contract and General Domestic use as Fixed Upholstery, with Dry Clean after-care.

How to use it

Use this warm pale cream on a sofa, headboard or occasional chair where its restrained woven texture can soften deeper woods, natural linens and muted yellow-beige accents. Its low-contrast surface also works well as a light foundation for patterned cushions.

Use this softly warm cream weave to lighten upholstered seating while retaining subtle textural depth.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
