About this fabric

The 137cm-wide design repeats stylised floral and leaf motifs, including ornate paisley-like forms, small blossoms and feathery sprays. Against the near-black blue background, the coral and muted ochre details bring warmth, while sage and lilac accents keep the overall impression cool and balanced. Made from 88% polyester, 8% acrylic and 4% viscose, with 3% shrinkage allowed, it is graded for Contract and General Domestic use. The specification lists it for curtains and fixed upholstery, with Delicate Wash at 30°C, dry cleaning and spongeable care options.

How to use it

Use Fawkes Gunpowder on a statement armchair, dining seat or full-length curtain where its ink-blue depth can frame lighter walls. Echo the coral and ochre motifs with cushions or painted accents, while sage and lilac provide gentler supporting tones.
