About this fabric

The large-scale repeat is built from mirrored, stepped and diamond-like forms, with broken edges that give the print a woven, folk-textile character. Against the cool charcoal-grey ground, the pale ivory details stand out clearly while the restrained ochre adds warmth without brightening the overall depth. Composed of 88% polyester, 8% acrylic and 4% viscose, the 54.5cm-wide fabric is specified for curtains and fixed upholstery, with an upholstery grade of Contract and General Domestic. Care is listed as Delicate Wash 30°C, Dry Clean or Spongeable, with 3% shrinkage allowed.

How to use it

Use Bukhara Graphite on a statement chair, sofa or full-length curtains where its dark, cool ground can frame lighter walls and furniture. Repeat the muted ochre in cushions, ceramics or aged metal accents to bring warmth to the geometric design.

Use the deep graphite ground to anchor an otherwise neutral room, with ivory and muted ochre accents echoing the motif.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Bukhara Graphite without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
