About this fabric

The base reads as a rich plum with a subtle brownish undertone, while slender ochre-gold lines form evenly spaced square checks across the surface. A fine, softly textured woven grain can be seen within the dark ground, keeping the colour from appearing flat. The medium-scale check is clearly defined without becoming stark, creating a balanced architectural rhythm.
