About this fabric

This close plain weave combines muted mauve and lilac with a subtle blue-grey cast, creating the softly variegated look visible in the swatch rather than a flat solid purple. The fine vertical grain and tiny interwoven flecks give the surface understated texture without a pronounced pattern. At approximately 145cm wide, Lana Heather is specified for curtains and fixed upholstery. Its composition is 70% wool, 20% polyester, 5% acrylic and 5% nylon, with dry-clean care and Contract and General Domestic upholstery grades.

How to use it

Use this cool heathered mauve-lilac on a reading chair, headboard or tailored curtain where its dusty depth can sit comfortably with grey, lavender, charcoal and pale timber. The plain weave also lets patterned cushions or richer purple accents provide contrast without competing for attention.
