Lana Rosewood is a softly shaded plain weave with a dusky rosewood cast, sitting between warm taupe, muted brown and dusty mauve. Its fine surface variation gives the solid colour gentle depth rather than a flat, uniform finish.

About this fabric

The close woven texture is visually quiet, with tiny tonal flecks that soften the brown-taupe base and give the fabric a subtly heathered appearance. The rosewood tone reads warm and subdued in the swatch, with a restrained mauve-grey cast rather than a bright or saturated red. Made from 70% wool with polyester, acrylic and nylon, this 145cm-wide fabric is specified for curtains and fixed upholstery. It carries Contract and General Domestic upholstery grades, and the supplied after-care instruction is dry cleaning.

How to use it

Use Lana Rosewood on a structured armchair, headboard or sofa where its muted warmth can anchor cooler neutrals, or make relaxed full-length curtains for a softly cocooning room. Its understated plain weave also works well beside pale stone, chalky grey and aged timber.
