About this fabric

The colour sits between warm taupe, softened brown and charcoal-grey, with small variations visible across the tightly woven surface. At approximately 140cm wide, it is specified for fixed upholstery and is suitable for Contract and General Domestic use. The composition is 54% Acrylic and 46% Polyester, giving the weave a neat, resilient-looking structure suited to upholstered seating. After-care is Dry Clean.

How to use it

Use Tamar Hickory on a tailored sofa, dining chair or occasional seat where its warm grey-brown depth can anchor cream, stone, charcoal and aged timber finishes. The subdued flecking also works well with stronger textured cushions without introducing a competing pattern.

A close, subtly flecked taupe weave for tailored fixed upholstery and quietly layered neutral schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
