About this fabric

This semi-plain fabric is built from a fine, closely packed weave that creates subtle vertical movement and a gently mottled finish. Its taupe base is warmed by tiny terracotta and rust notes, while muted green threads add cool contrast without making the cloth feel bright. Supplied at approximately 140cm wide, it is specified for fixed upholstery and is suitable for Contract and General Domestic use. The composition is 54% Acrylic and 46% Polyester, with dry-clean after-care.

How to use it

On a sofa, armchair or dining seat, Tamar’s earthy taupe ground can sit comfortably with oak, walnut, stone and warm cream, while the small green and rust flecks bring depth to otherwise neutral schemes.

Use this earthy taupe colourway on fixed seating, where its fine green and rust flecks can complement natural timber and warm neutrals.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
