Heather Damson

Rosslyn Park Fabric

Heather Damson presents a deep, muted plum-purple ground with a softly heathered appearance. Its close diagonal weave gives the plain surface visible movement without introducing a separate motif.

About this fabric

The colour sits between damson, aubergine and berry, with a restrained saturation that reads rich rather than bright. Fine diagonal ribs run consistently across the surface, creating a compact woven texture and gently breaking up the depth of the purple. The even, substantial-looking weave makes this colourway particularly suited to upholstered pieces where its dark tone can provide a calm, grounding presence.

How to use it

Use Heather Damson on an armchair, sofa or dining seat where its muted plum tone can anchor softer neutrals, warm timber and aged brass. Pair it with dusty pinks or mushroom shades for a tonal scheme rather than introducing a high-contrast pattern.

The muted damson-purple tone and fine diagonal weave bring quiet depth to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
